North Stokes High School

Davidlee Williams, North Stokes' junior, pole vaulted a jump of 14'8" on March 14, 2024 breaking the Outdoor Pole Vault Record for North Stokes held by Sean Nickell set in 2010 at  14'7".  The jump of 14'8" in pole vault is the fifth highest jump in the history of the 1A NCHSAA according to NC Runners, whose records go back into the 1970's.  Davidlee also finished fifth this past weekend in the National Elite Division at Adidas Indoor Nationals held at Virginia Beach, VA.
