FFA Week is a nationally celebrated week during February. There are many goals for this week which include leadership development for our members, service-based activities for our community, and agriculture awareness and support for local farmers. Each year our FFA officer team plans events and activities throughout the week, some involve our FFA members, others involve students, staff, community members, local farmers and our FFA Alumni Association. Below is are the activities that the FFA members planned and executed for this year's FFA Week.
Other events throughout the week included:
Sunday:
FFA Goes to Church (FFA members gathered at Bethany Baptist Church and attended the youth service.)
Monday:
AG Fact Central (FFA members took their day off of school to write ag facts in chalk down the breeze-way so that students and staff can learn about North Carolina agriculture and how it plays a role in their everyday life.)
Tuesday:
Fill the Feed Trough (all week we collected canned food and non-perishable food to donate to the East Stokes Outreach.)
