Student Reassignment Information for 2012/2013 School Year
Please Note: The student reassignment form for the 2012/2013 school year is now available at the link above. If a previous reassignment form is submitted, it will not be considered and will be returned. Reassignment requests will be accepted starting on March 1, 2012 through June 1, 2012.
All children domiciled in Stokes County and qualified under the laws of North Carolina for admission to a public school are assigned by the Stokes County Board of Education to attend a school located within their geographic attendance area.
To request student reassignment, one copy of the Request for Student Reassignment form must be completed for each student and submitted to the Office of the Superintendent, Stokes County Schools, P.O. Box 50, Danbury, NC 27016. This form must be completed in accordance with timelines specified in Policy 4150. In applying for a student transfer, please read all requirements outlined in Policy 4150.
